Scarred Vows

Nobody told me it was my wedding.
Or that I'd been sold to the Bratva
to pay my father's debts.

So I ran.

Straight into the arms of the man who bought me.

Vladimir Kovalev.
Older. Scarred. Ruthless.
The kind of man you don't say no to.

He married me that night.

The way he looks at me should terrify me.
Instead, every night he doesn't touch me,
I want him a little more.

And when I finally say yes,
he makes sure I never forget whose wife I am.

Then I see two pink lines.

His baby.
And I'm not ready to tell him.
Not until I know if I'm his wife or just the deal.

But his enemies discover my secret.
And they take me to get to him.

They took the Pakhan's wife.
Now every one of them will pay in blood.
