Karen Keilt 

Born and raised in Sao Paulo, Brazil, a dual American/Brazilian citizen, Karen Keilt is an accomplished author, screenwriter and equestrienne.  Karen studied at the University of Sao Paulo.  Karen is bi-lingual in Portuguese and English, and fluent in Spanish.

With vivid and graphic description Karen Keilt takes you along on her journey from a privileged life-style in Sao Paulo, Brazil, through her kidnapping and torture, to her escape into anonymity with her 18-month old son in California following her ordeal.  How she surpasses the abject terror, trauma and goes on to create a positive and happy life is an inspiration to all
