Can a cowboy turned mayor help a wealthy city girl in her quest to find home?
Dani Davis just wants a place to call home. With lovable-but-quirky town folks, quaint country charm, and loads of business potential, Miller’s Creek, Texas seems like the perfect place to start over…except for the cowboy who gives her a ride into town. She secretly finances renovations to the downtown area until malicious rumors and a devastating discovery propel her down a road she never expected to travel.
Steve Miller is determined to rescue his dying hometown. When vandals jeopardize the renovation, he can’t help but suspect Dani, whose strange behavior has become fodder for local gossips. Can Steve and Dani call a truce for a higher cause, and in the process help Dani recognize the true meaning of home?
If you enjoy Christian western romance with an inspirational message of finding true home, Texas Roads is a book you’ll love.

“…one of those stories that sticks in your heart.” ~Amazon Reviewer
Interview With The Author
Q – Why write stories about a small fictional town in Texas?
A – I grew up in a small Texas town, so I know all the pros and cons and absolute blessings of living in a place like Miller’s Creek–a laid-back, down-home lifestyle, wonderful folks, and even a few who think it’s their job to know everyone’s personal business. The stories were designed to give readers an experience of feeling like they’ve arrived at a place that feels like home.
Although the Miller’s Creek novels are technically classified as romances, they’re really so much more: southern fiction, women’s fiction (though I have a surprisingly high amount of men readers), suspense, comedy, drama, even a little bit of psychological thriller thrown in to keep readers turning pages. And each of the books carry a distinctive spiritual theme as well as an overall journey theme for the series. (Hence words like roads, path, way, pilgrimage, and bridge in the titles.)
Q – In what order should the books be read?
A – The books were created as stand-alone novels, so they can be read in any order. However, if you have OCD issues like me, you might want to read them in the order in which they were written:
-TEXAS ROADS
-A PATH LESS TRAVELED
-THE WAY OF GRACE
-PILGRIMAGE OF PROMISE
-A BRIDGE UNBROKEN (and its companion Bible study on the theme of forgiveness, THE FRAGRANCE OF CRUSHED VIOLETS)
-CROSSROADS (Coming Soon)
Q – So why will readers be interested in the Miller’s Creek novels?
A – Based on reader reviews, I’d say the books are compelling reads for these five main reasons:
1. They make readers laugh one minute and tear up the next.
2. They offer plenty of conflict and tension to keep readers turning pages.
3. The setting is compelling. (Some readers have compared Miller’s Creek to Mayberry, only Texas-style. And I’ve lost count of how many readers have told me they want to live in Miller’s Creek.)
4. The characters are endearing and relatable.
5. The books’ themes are spiritually impactful.
In addition, all the books are rated at 4.5 stars or higher.
Q – Have any plans to bundle the series into a collection?
A – Actually the first three books have been bundled. Readers can check out my Amazon author page for a full list of my book titles, including the collection. And a big shout out to my reader friends: Thanks for reading!

Miracle on Voodoo Mountain is the inspirational memoir of an accomplished and driven 24-year old who quit her job, sold everything, and moved to Haiti, by herself—all without a clear plan of action. Megan Boudreaux had visited Haiti on a few humanitarian trips but each trip multiplied the sense that someone needed to address the devastation—especially with the children, many of whom were kept as household slaves on the poverty-stricken and earthquake-devastated Caribbean island.
God guided her every step as she moved blindly to a foreign land without knowing the language, the people, or the future. From becoming the adoptive mother of former child slaves, to receiving the divine gift of the Haitian Creole language, to starting, building, and running a school for more than 500 children, “the amazingness of what God did after I made the choice to be obedient is incredible,” said Megan.
Three years later, six acres on Bellevue Mountain in Gressier is the home of the nonprofit Respire Haiti at the former site of voodoo worship, and in the area that many still come to make animal sacrifices, Megan and her staff of nearly 200 are transforming this community as they educate, feed, and address the needs.

The Miracle in the Middle: Finding God’s Voice in the Void
If you’ve ever been on a long trip with small children you’ve no doubt heard, “Are we there yet?” Maybe you’ve even said those exact words or felt that same way as you have journeyed with God. Midway is where these feelings of frustration and impatience are most commonly felt. It’s also where our hidden doubts find their voice.
Where most beginnings start with energy and expectation for all that is ahead, and endings bring the joy of completion as you arrive at your desired destination, the middle is very different. This midpoint can too quickly become a low point, as energy is lacking and enthusiasm wanes. Yet how well you handle the middle reveals what is in the middle of you.
The disciples found—in the middle of a lake—a revelation of Jesus that they had never seen on the shore. In the middle is where new navigational skills are found. It’s also where some of the most significant lessons are learned.
Join Charlotte Gambill in this compelling, story-driven message that shows through biblical teaching and life application how those who persist through the middle will find that miracles await them on the other side.

LINKED (The Bening Files Book 1)
McKenna Moore doesn’t think about the day in April when her best friend’s mother was murdered. She doesn’t dwell on Jordan Bening’s disappearance or how her testimony might have changed the trial, in which, her uncle was charged with the crime. Instead, she’s focused on her career with the FBI and vindicating each victim that crosses her desk.
When McKenna runs into Jordan in Las Vegas, on a forced mini-vacation, she puts her questions and guilt to the side long enough to enjoy his presence—a little too much. One too many drinks and a chapel wedding later, she finds herself married to a man she hasn’t seen in ten years. What’s worse, he’s not the boy she remembers, but an attractive man she can’t stop thinking about.
With McKenna’s car stolen, mysterious bouquets of flowers arriving, a grave robbed and a murder-suicide to investigate, Jordan suspects nothing about their current position is random. Right down to their hasty nuptials, he knows the details are linked. He just has to prove to McKenna that he’s not that same kid who left home. And he’s not going down without a fight.
