Eat Your Way to Success: Healthy, Eating and Lifestyle Habits To Become the Most Successful Version of Yourself!

Eat Your Way to Success: Healthy, Eating and Lifestyle Habits To Become the Most Successful Version of Yourself!

George Ilian

My challenge for you is to make a change and then see how you feel after thirty days. Keep a journal so that you can document it. Here are a few final tips for developing these habits.

• Don’t try to change everything at once. Make small changes and gradually work your way up. You did not develop bad habits overnight so you can’t expect to change them overnight.
• Building momentum is huge. Once you develop a good habit, you must make sure that you do not lose momentum. Keep finding ways to improve your health.
• Productivity and health go hand-in-hand. The healthier you are, the more productive you will be. Never forget that!
• Humans thrive on routines so creating a routine will allow you to naturally develop a new habit.
• Don’t procrastinate. Decide on a change and start it right now.
• Make things easier on yourself by planning ahead. For example, you can prepare meals ahead of time so that they are ready when you need them.

Grace Walk: Learning to Rest in God's Love

Grace Walk: Learning to Rest in God’s Love

Jay Fernandez

Life’s most difficult lessons are often painful. They require sacrifice and cannot be learnt alone. This testimony offers a unique insight into one man’s journey with his Creator. From the mission fields of Islamic Africa to the corporate structures of America, Jay Fernandez has seen God at work in many contexts. And his role within the church has taken many forms. He has served as a lay pastor, worship leader, youth leader and elder. For a time, Jay was happily married and earned in excess of $100 000 annually. Suddenly, and with little warning, his world came crashing down around him. Through his vices and circumstances out of his control he was brought to his knees, and by the grace of God alone he was lifted up once more. Clearly God’s plan for Jay’s life was more radical than he could have dreamed, and he found his purpose in the rebuilding of battle-torn South Sudan. This stunning testimony seeks to share God’s message of love and forgiveness with all who are willing to seek Him out. It is about the greatest gift anyone could receive, a gift that is available to us all at any time or place, and yet a gift which so many of us fail to see.

Old Story New: Ten-Minute Devotions to Draw Your Family to God

Old Story New: Ten-Minute Devotions to Draw Your Family to God

Marty Machowski

Easy-to-Use Devotional Helps Parents Share the Living Gospel Story!

Filled with adventure, suspense, drama, and mystery, the gospel story easily captures the attention of children. Even better, the gospel story gives life. We are saved and our children are saved as we review the story of the gospel. So why do so many well-intentioned parents give up on family devotions—deciding that reading the Bible as a family must only be for “super parents.” The truth is that there are no super parents. We all struggle, and we all need help to stay on course. Old Story New makes it easy for parents to stay on the life-giving course of sharing the gospel with their family.

The second volume in Marty Machowski’s family devotional series, Old Story New continues the gospel story that started in Long Story Short. Using the same effective ten-minute a day structure, it walks children through the great truths of the Christian faith in the New Testament. Through 78 New Testament stories, Old Story New does the hard work for parents and caregivers. Simple discussion questions (and answers!!) for each day’s devotion help children understand and remember Jesus’ life, death, resurrection, and the birth of the Christian church. Old Story New is a family devotional program designed to explain God’s plan of salvation through the New Testament and is suitable for children from preschool through high school.

Marty Machowski is a Family Life Pastor at Covenant Fellowship Church, a Sovereign Grace Ministries church in Glen Mills, Pennsylvania, where he has served on the pastoral staff for over twenty years. He is the author of The Gospel Story Bible; The Gospel Story Curriculum (OT); and Long Story Short, the Old Testament companion devotional to Old Story New. He and his wife Lois and their six children reside in West Chester, Pennsylvania.
