The Power of Grace: The Promise of God’s Gift to Us
What is Grace?
When we stub our toe or bump our shin, we merely want the pain to go away. But pain is God’s way of telling us, through nature, to correct our ways. Be more careful. Watch what you’re doing. Don’t do that again.
Similarly, grace is what we find when we move closer to God. There is a big difference, though. This is not some reward for anything we have done. The gift has always been there, waiting for us.
We’ve heard of God’s graciousness—being kind, loving and openly generous. But how many of us have felt this graciousness in our lives?
In today’s hectic world, worry is a constant reminder that things are not so perfect around us. How am I going to pay all my bills? How can I fit all of my obligations in an already tight schedule? How am I going to live with myself if my boss finds out about my mistake?
When we dwell in grace, we find out that this world really is perfect, after all. The idea of “perfection” takes on a new, more powerful meaning.
When we dwell in grace, worry disappears.
With the grace of God living in our hearts, the concerns of this world become secondary. Though we still live in this world, we are no longer of this world.
When we dwell in grace, forgiveness becomes effortless.
When we dwell in grace, loving our enemies becomes easy.
And when we dwell in grace, we finally understand the true meaning of love.
When we find out what grace is truly about, we will better understand who God is, what He is like and how to be like Him.
Do you think God worried about creation? Do you think He wondered if it would truly manifest? Not at all. He possesses a perfect confidence we call “faith.” There is no room for doubt in it. With faith, all things are effortless.
Some have said that, with faith, things are not easy—they’re possible. But know this: with faith things are far more than merely “possible.” Quite the contrary, with faith, things are perfectly easy. In fact, they are effortless. Any effort would be a lack of faith, for one would be dwelling in doubt.
Upon creating this universe, God did not struggle in His creation. He did not consult a committee or send a team to investigate. When He rested, His creation became manifest—including all time, space, matter and energy. Before this, there was not even space or time—not even an emptiness to fill. Before creation, God IS.
In this book, we look at the various sides of grace, how it affects our lives, how to get it in the first place, how to give it to others, and how to heal the world with God’s loving grace, shared amongst ourselves.
Jesus Christ gave us an example of how we should live our lives. This was not a literal example. Very little that Jesus did or said was literal, for the lessons were too important to rely on mortal meaning. But through him, we find the grace of God. Through the spirit of his teachings, we discover the true bliss that the Heavenly father has waiting for us.
“And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace. For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ” (John 1:16–17, NKJV).

Why Science Does Not Disprove God
A highly publicized coterie of scientists and thinkers, including Richard Dawkins, the late Christopher Hitchens, and Lawrence Krauss, have vehemently contended that breakthroughs in modern science have disproven the existence of God, asserting that we must accept that the creation of the universe came out of nothing, that religion is evil, that evolution fully explains the dazzling complexity of life, and more. In this much-needed book, science journalist Amir Aczel profoundly disagrees and conclusively demonstrates that science has not, as yet, provided any definitive proof refuting the existence of God.
Why Science Does Not Disprove God is his brilliant and incisive analyses of the theories and findings of such titans as Albert Einstein, Roger Penrose, Alan Guth, and Charles Darwin, all of whose major breakthroughs leave open the possibility— and even the strong likelihood—of a Creator. Bolstering his argument, Aczel lucidly discourses on arcane aspects of physics to reveal how quantum theory, the anthropic principle, the fine-tuned dance of protons and quarks, the existence of anti-matter and the theory of parallel universes, also fail to disprove God.
