Seek and Hide: A Novel (Haven Seekers Book 1)
If characters make the story for you, then this is a book you should get your hands on. Fast paced and terrifyingly real, I can’t say enough times how talented I believe this author is.
Aubrey Weston recanted her faith when the Constabulary threatened her baby. Now released, she just wants to provide for her son and avoid government notice. But she’s targeted again, and this time, her baby is taken into custody. If only she’d never denied Him, maybe God would hear her pleas for help.
When Aubrey and Marcus’s lives collide, they are forced to confront the lies they believe about themselves. And God is about to grab hold of Marcus’s life in a way he’d never expect, turning a loner into a leader.

What sets this book apart is the little titbits of nutritional info about the ingredients which help you feel as if you are not only eating sugar free, but that you are actually enhancing your health with a super food. Lots of recipes here (some can be made in minutes, some take longer) and so good value for money.

Sugar not only rots our teeth and makes us fat, it depletes valuable minerals from the body, uses up Vitamin C and feeds cancer cells.
Popular diets like Paleo, Candida and Alkaline forbid sugar and that is why I have also included Paleo and Candida compatible recipes too.
Go ahead and try making your very own sugar-free desserts and we guarantee you that your family will enjoy them as they are GUILT FREE and actually contain both fruits and nuts which can dramatically enhance health by improving your nutrition.
I have included some unusual and exotic ingredients to make these desserts show stoppers for dinner parties; however I make suggestions for alternatives in case you have difficulty sourcing these items.
Some of the ingredients are super foods which can enhance your health by giving you an injection of vibrant nutrition as well as flavor.

I loved the story. I just wish the story would have been longer. I love reading about the Amish household. The life they live is a very peaceful life. A vast difference than our world is today. My grandmother’s family came from Germany and settled in Butler Co, Pennsylvania. Love Amish books.
After Katie Fisher’s husband and young son are killed in a house fire, the young Amish widow returns to her parents’ home broken-hearted with her faith in shambles. Katie can never imagine herself marrying again. But when 31-year-old Amish widower, Joseph Lapp, comes to Katie’s district church service looking to hire an honest woman to help him take care of his three active, rambunctious children, Katie takes the plunge and accepts the position. Katie quickly finds herself falling in love with Joseph’s children, and though Katie and Joseph cannot spend time together unsupervised due to the strict tenants of their Ordnung, the widow and widower find themselves growing closer in spirit as well. But when a new tragedy threatens the fragile future Katie and Joseph have begun to build, will the couple have the faith to risk a second chance at love?

Letting Go (Fairfield Amish Romance)
This was a really good story. I usually don’t read short stories, because I’m a fast reader and I just barely get into them and then they’re over, but this one really held my interest. I felt like I got to know the characters, and I liked them and cared what happened to them. I especially liked Isaac. 🙂 It also taught a good lesson about “letting go” of worries and having faith in God, as well as compassion for others.
Love can overcome all obstacles – especially when you let go so God can work his miracles.
Hannah is a dedicated Amish girl who has put God first in her life, but needs to learn that she can’t control everything . . . and she certainly can’t force things to be the way she wants them to be.
Isaac is a unique young man who both excites and scares Hannah.
See how God works in their lives once Hannah lets go so God can do his work.
