What a great book to read. This book is full of history, which I loved. I didn’t know about the beginnings of cancer treatment and this book was eye opening. How limited their resources were yet they continued to try in the midst of great failure. Each failure represented information they needed to be successful the next time. And they were practicing on real lives. Real families. Real stories.
As they work together toward a cure, Abby’s feelings for Robert become hopelessly entangled. The fact that this series is called “Rollicking Regency” has to be a sign of good things to come. Who doesn’t love a good old fashioned regency romance? All the Tea in China is a good start to such a series. Great characters, mystery, intrigue, adventure, a bit of piracy, and of course some romance.
