I read Rob Cubbon’s little book the moment I downloaded it to my Kindle. Then I read it again! There are so many gems within it that apply to any type of business you want to start, including tips on managing your time, using the best tools available and boosting your income.
Working for a design company? Freelancing? Under-utilised, unappreciated or uninspired? This could be the book for you.
Would you like to build websites for clients directly instead of going through middlemen? Would you like to work when you’d like, on what you’d like, and with whom you’d like? This could be the book for you.
Are you currently running a web design business or doing freelance web design from home and not making as much money as you would like? This could be the book for you.
This book explains how to set up your business from home – the hardware and software you’ll need. How to get clients – long term, quality clients that will recommend you and give you ongoing work. How to run web design projects. And how to diversify your business going forward.
This is not a “get rich quick” book. You are encouraged to start in your spare time and slowly but surely build up your long-term professional contacts and online authority. This will provide you with a solid base for whatever you want to achieve with your online business in the future.
We also move forward and talk about how to get the best-paying, low maintenance clients. How to retain them. How to conduct design projects. And, looking to the future, how to build in passive income streams to your company in order to ensure future growth.

Lies That Make You Pay & Truths That Set You Free: A Mother’s Guide to the Simple and Frugal Life
Enjoyed all the great ideas that the author has suggested. A very useful read with a knowing touch of experience.
√ Why you continue to impulse shop even when you don’t want to.
√ Why you still go shopping with a closet full of clothes.
√ Why everyone says babies are so expensive (even though they’re not.)
√ Why frugal living and simple living are often at war.
You’ll discover tried and true tips on:
√ Learning to mind your own business to prevent envy.
√ Maintaining a beautiful and inviting home on a budget.
√ Learning to be the entertainment instead of seeking paid entertainment.
√ Getting out of the unfulfilling “Keeping up with the Joneses” rat race.
Other tips on frugal and simple living include:
√ How to use home remedies to help meet your family’s needs.
√ How having your own garden, food storage, and emergency preparedness can help you save.
√ How having effective systems and organisation in your home prevents excess.
√ How purpose breeds contentment in our daily lives.
So if you really want to know why – in spite of the desire to be frugal – you:
√ Feel more secure with more stuff;
√ Think downsizing is going backwards;
√ Are envious of others possessions.
then this book is a must read!
Nobody really believes that more stuff equals more happiness. No one actually thinks that, on their deathbed, they will be so grateful they had all that time with their worldly possessions. Even so, why is it so hard to live simply and frugally?
It isn’t because we don’t want to, it’s because we are believing numerous little lies that our society, culture and even experience have told us.
“One is not enough.”
“Only poor people are frugal.”
“More things equal more convenience.”
“I don’t have much money so I don’t need to budget.”
“Everyone else spends freely and they’re not in money trouble.”
These thoughts (and many many more) have woven their way throughout our lives in a way that make it difficult to act out our desires to minimize, and live simply and frugally.
Lies That Make You Pay & Truths That Set You Free will highlight 30 lies (in 30 chapters) that stop us from going forward with more. More time, more money, and more contentment.
Each chapter includes a personal challenge, and all the challenges can be printed in a FREE bundle!

The Search for Significance: Seeing Your True Worth Through God’s Eyes
I absolutely recommend this book to anyone who feel that their life is insignificant. That is what this book is all about: How significant you are to God and to others around you, even through the tough times.
Robert McGee’s best-selling book has helped millions of readers learn how to be free to enjoy Christ’s love while no longer basing their self-worth on their accomplishments or the opinions of others. In fact, Billy Graham said that it was a book that “should be read by every Christian.”
In this re-launch of this timeless classic you will:
Gain new skills for getting off the performance treadmill
Discover how four false beliefs have negatively impacted your life
Learn how to overcome obstacles that prevent you from experiencing the truth that your self-worth is found only in the love, acceptance, and forgiveness of Christ
Discover what two million readers have already discovered: that true significance is found only in Christ.

Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams at Home
Jeni has nailed it! The texture of her ice creams are so much better than store-bought and most home made ice creams! We have tried 7 or 8 of the recipes and all have been wonderful! Some of the flavors sound completely strange (Earl Grey and Scarlet – very good!) but we have not found any that we didn’t like. We love experimenting using her base recipe.
At last, addictive flavors, and a breakthrough method for making creamy, scoopable ice cream at home, from the proprietor of Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams, whose artisanal scooperies in Ohio are nationally acclaimed.
Now, with her debut cookbook, Jeni Britton Bauer is on a mission to help foodies create perfect ice creams, yogurts, and sorbets—ones that are every bit as perfect as hers—in their own kitchens. Frustrated by icy and crumbly homemade ice cream, Bauer invested in a $50 ice cream maker and proceeded to test and retest recipes until she devised a formula to make creamy, sturdy, lickable ice cream at home. Filled with irresistible color photographs, this delightful cookbook contains 100 of Jeni’s jaw-droppingly delicious signature recipes—from her Goat Cheese with Roasted Cherries to her Queen City Cayenne to her Bourbon with Toasted Buttered Pecans. Fans of easy-to-prepare desserts with star quality will scoop this book up.
How cool is that?

And believe it or not, some of the greatest men and women in history were believed to have had Asperger’s. In other words, everyone has a potential to be great including aspies.

He didn’t let his emotions drag him down but wanted what was best for his friend. He was tough and respectful. He was cautious when necessary and kind where ever he went. Unending Devotion (Michigan Brides Collection Book #1)
Hedlund is a very talented writer. She shows the story in a way the reader feels part of the story. You’ll walk away from this book examining your thoughts and actions to see if you’ve turned a blind eye to those who need our help. Excellent story. Well done, Jody, well done.
In 1883 Michigan, Lily Young is on a mission to save her lost sister, or die trying. Heedless of the danger, her searches of logging camps lead her to Harrison and into the sights of Connell McCormick, a man doing his best to add to the hard-earned fortunes of his lumber baron father.
Posing during the day as a photographer’s assistant, Lily can’t understand why any God-fearing citizen would allow evil to persist and why men like Connell McCormick turn a blind eye to the crime rampant in the town. But Connell is boss-man of three of his father’s lumber camps in the area, and like most of the other men, he’s interested in clearing the pine and earning a profit. He figures as long as he’s living an upright life, that’s what matters.
Lily challenges everything he thought he knew, and together they work not only to save her sister but to put an end to the corruption that’s dominated Harrison for so long.

I HIGHLY recommend this book to anyone, young or old! I can now safely say that Eve’s Daughters has become my favorite book.. it’s simply the best.
Is there a secret terrible enough that it should never be revealed, not even if it was tearing a family apart? For more than five decades Emma Bauer has kept one–carefully guarding it with all her strength, and for more than five decades that choice has haunted her life and also the lives of her daughters and granddaughter. Is it too late for wrongs to be righted? Does Emma even have the strength to let the healing power of truth work in her family?
The story of four generations of women and the powerful effects that their choices have had on their lives is at the heart of Eve’s Daughters, an epic novel from author Lynn Austin. Grand in scope but tender and personal at the same time, it will please you as a fan of contemporary or historical fiction.
Exploring times from World War I to the 980s, Eve’s Daughters is an insightful look at mothers, daughters, sisters, and families that allows you to see a little bit of yourself through the characters’ triumphs, struggles, and hard-tested faith.
Yearning for love, dignity, and freedom, the four generations of women must come to terms with the choices they have made. Healing comes when the past is forgiven but only when they embrace God’s forgiveness can they shatter the cycle that has ruled their lives over the decades.

Good book…had suspense in it and a story that helps you understand the mentally ill better. It also illustrates how anyone can help show God’s grace to people.

Saving Grace (Madison Falls Book 1)
I just loved this story! Grace’s quick wit and dry humor drew me in and had me cheering for her from the get-go. But it was the mystery that kept me turning pages to figure out just what was going on. This author is so talented at dropping little hints that answer some questions, but only raise others all the way to the satisfying conclusion.
When an obsessive fan forces Tracy to change her name to Grace Addison and go into hiding, the last thing she wants is to get to know the locals. Now, not one but two men have worked their way into her daily routine, much to the chagrin of jealous local girl Sophia, who insists on prying into Grace’s past and stirring up deadly trouble.
Will Grace find love in Madison Falls…or will her stalker find her?

Working It Out is another great novel written by Rachael Anderson. It’s nice to find books that are able to tell a fun, cute, romantic story that will also completely leave out the sex and crude language that seems to be so popular today. Anderson has definitely made a fan out of me!
A chance for love . . .
Weeks later, when Seth limps into Grace’s rehab clinic post surgery, he’s every bit as frustrating and annoying as she remembered. Yet there’s something about him that makes her second-guess her carefully placed boundaries even though he’s everything she’s sure she doesn’t want in a man. But maybe Seth is exactly what Grace has needed all along—assuming she’s willing to risk safe and predictable for a chance at love.

Last Chance for Justice (A Bloomfield Novel)
This novel is about the relationships, between a mother and daughter, between a sister and brother and so many more. I felt a kinship with all the characters and I just plain out couldn’t put it down. I can hardly wait to see what happens to all the characters in the other Bloomfield books. Loved it!
Lynn Myers is still reeling from losing her husband of thirty-five years when word comes that her only sibling, an older brother, has also died. With no one else to settle the estate, she must return to her small hometown of Bloomfield, however briefly, to settle his affairs.
Lynn’s daughter, Rachel, has just graduated from Bible college and with no other commitments comes along to sort through her uncle’s huge old home, right next to the local cemetery.
It isn’t long before Rachel has two men — a handsome CPA and the youth pastor — seriously vying for her attention. At the same time, Lynn’s attention is drawn to a set of journals her brother has left behind detailing a long-standing Bloomfield mystery.
As they pursue solving this mystery, Rachel must make some personal decisions about her future, while Lynn is forced to face unexpected issues from her own past.

It’s not unusual when reading a novel for the author to create characters you’ll fall in love with that you hate to see it end. In this case I am thrilled because not only has Ms. Gist written just that, but she is planning a sequel and one can only hope she writes fast!
Whether it’s riding bikes, catching snakes, or sliding down banisters, Essie Spreckelmeyer just can’t quite make herself into the ideal woman her hometown–and her mother–expect her to be. It’s going to take an extraordinary man to appreciate her joy and spontaneity–or so says her doting oil-man father.
Unfortunately such a man doesn’t appear to reside in Corsicana, Texas.
It’s 1894, the year of Essie’s thirtieth birthday, and she decides the Lord has more important things to do than provide her a husband. If she wants one, she needs to catch him herself. So, she writes down the names of all the eligible bachelors in her small Texas town, makes a list of their attributes and drawbacks, closes her eyes, twirls her finger, and … picks one.
But convincing the lucky “husband-to-be” is going to a bit more of a problem.
Join Deeanne Gist for another unforgettable tale and find out whether Essie’s plan to catch a husband succeeds or if she’s just Courting Trouble.

The Singing Quilt (The Quilt Series)
Kathi Macias is writing a series of books that bring to light some amazing but possibly little known facts about some pioneering women. This is her third book in the “Quilt” series.
The Singing Quilt is set against the backdrop of the life of Fanny Crosby, who in addition to writing hundreds of songs was also a well-known public speaker and active in Christian rescue missions despite her disability. Readers will be inspired not to let fear or a disability prevent them from answering what they think is God’s impossible call.
The Singing Quilt is the third book in the contemporary fiction “Quilt” series written by award-winning author Kathi Macias. The series focuses on various social issues, including racial and pro-life issues. Supplemental online book club materials will be available at NewHopeDigital.com.
