Play It Away: A Workaholic’s Cure for Anxiety
As a result of reading this book, I’ve found new hobbies, made new friends and sleep better at night, which I haven’t done since grade school. Also, because I’ve given myself permission to have down time, my business has actually improved. You can’t work yourself into the ground and expect to operate at 100% capacity 24/7. You’ll stroke out.
Are you trapped in your own personal hell, and don’t know how to get out?
I’ve been there, and I know what it’s like. Shallow breathing, tension in the gut, chest pains, rapid heartbeat… Every moment is exhausting, crushing, and painful. Anxiety destroys your confidence, your productivity, your relationships, and your ability to enjoy life. The worst part is the obsessive hopelessness – the gnawing sense that you’ll never feel happy again.
Fear no more. You can put an end to your suffering. You can start living again. And it’s not as hard as you think…
Play It Away covers my entire journey: what caused my anxiety, the “A-ha!” moment that lead to my cure and how I got my life back. In this book, you’ll learn:
– The key breakthrough that allowed me to enjoy life again (page 27)
– My step-by-step plan for healing anxiety without drugs (page 47)
– How I turned non-stop worrying into background noise (page 95)
– My unusual technique for stopping panic attacks (page 100)
– Why “anchors” fuel anxiety, and how to remove them (page 49)
– How I finally started sleeping well again (page 85)
– Three common nutrient deficiencies that amplify anxiety (page 114)
– How to boost productivity and have guilt-free fun (page 70)

Farmacology: What Innovative Family Farming Can Teach Us About Health and Healing
I love this book! It has some very profound insights into the connection between different environmental concepts and human health and well being.
In Farmacology, practicing family physician and renowned nutrition explorer Daphne Miller brings us beyond the simple concept of “food as medicine” and introduces us to the critical idea that it’s the farm where that food is grown that offers us the real medicine.
By venturing out of her clinic and spending time on seven family farms, Miller uncovers all the aspects of farming—from seed choice to soil management—that have a direct and powerful impact on our health. Bridging the traditional divide between agriculture and medicine, Miller shares lessons learned from inspiring farmers and biomedical researchers and artfully weaves their insights and discoveries, along with stories from her patients, into the narrative. The result is a compelling new vision for sustainable healing and a treasure trove of farm-to-body lessons that have immense value in our daily lives.
In Farmacology you will meet:
a vegetable farmer in Washington State who shows us how the principles he uses to rejuvenate his soil apply just as well to our own bodies. Here we also discover the direct links between healthy soil and healthy humans.
a beef farmer in Missouri who shows how a holistic cattle-grazing method can grow resilient calves and resilient children.
an egg farmer in Arkansas who introduces us to the counterintuitive idea that stress can keep us productive and healthy. We discover why the stressors associated with a pasture-based farming system are beneficial to animals and humans while the duress of factory farming can make us ill.
a vintner in Sonoma, California, who reveals the principles of Integrated Pest Management and helps us understand how this gentler approach to controlling unwanted bugs and weeds might be used to treat invasive cancers in humans.
a farmer in the Bronx who shows us how a network of gardens offers health benefits that extend far beyond the nutrient value of the fruits and vegetables grown in the raised beds. For example, did you know that urban farming can lower the incidence of alcoholism and crime?
finally, an aromatic herb farmer in Washington State who teaches us about the secret chemical messages we exchange with plants—messages that can affect our mood and even keep us looking youthful.
In each chapter, Farmacology reveals the surprising ways that the ecology of our body and the ecology of our farms are intimately linked. This is a paradigm-changing adventure that has huge implications for our personal health and the health of the planet.

When God Breaks Your Heart: Choosing Hope in the Midst of Faith-Shattering Circumstances
As many books do, this book delivers a message of faith and hope. As few books do, it shares the raw story of facing unimaginable pain and living to tell about it. It confronts the honest doubts and questions that come when life falls apart. When God Breaks Your Heart is definitely a must-read; you won’t be able to put it down.
If you have never asked this question, you someday will.
There is perhaps no greater challenge to our faith than personal suffering. For pastor Ed Underwood this challenge came in the form of chronic leukemia. Though he prayed for and believed in God’s healing, as the days slipped by and his pain became unbearable, Ed’s heart was broken by a simple realization: The God who could do anything was not helping him. Yet a revelation from God’s Word changed his heart and life forever.
In this poignant journey from tragedy to hope, Ed takes a fresh look at the story of Lazarus and his sisters—a story that explores suffering through the eyes of our Lord and His people. You’ll find comfort during difficulty, be inspired to ask for the impossible, and discover a God whose heart breaks with yours.

Jesus in the Present Tense: The I AM Statements of Christ
Warren Wiersbe was at one time pastor of my church. I read his books whenever I find one. I would recomend this book to anyone to read. It tells the reader that Jesus is the way the truth and the way. The only way to heaven
Many Christians find themselves mired in past regrets or future fears, but the name of God itself reminds readers that God wants them to live in the present. The more readers understand and apply God’s I AM statements from the Old and New Testaments, the more they will realize God’s peace and joy. Then they will be free to live, serve, and know God more richly in the present tense—which is just where He wants them to be.

When I Feel Angry (The Way I Feel Books)
This is an excellent series for children as young as 3. Good content, wonderful illustrations and good parent suggestions. My school system has decided to use them in our 4 yr. preschool classes.
This is a fixed-format ebook, which preserves the design and layout of the original print book.

I enjoyed this book so much. It has adventure, mystery, and romance. The whole plot was well written and all the characters were well developed. The romance between Kat and Vadeem was especially great. It wasn’t overdone to the point of ridiculously sappy, like some books, but was simply sweet.
