The Three Kitties That Saved My Life: (True Inspirational Romance)
Price: 99 cents
By the time I got to 5% in this book on my Kindle, I was already bawling my eyes out. Seriously, I had to put it down every two minutes or so to wipe the tears from my eyes first before I could continue reading. In only a few paragraphs, the author managed to describe his first wife in such a sincere way, it felt to me as though I’ve known her personally. His loss was palpable and felt like my own. My heart broke for him, not only for losing his life partner to cancer, but also for all the trying times he had to endure together with her as she battled with this incurable, unforgiving illness. Although at the start this is an achingly heartbreaking story about loss, grief, starting over and moving on, it is also filled with many humorous laugh out loud moments; and at its core, it is a poignant tale about healing and finding “the one”.
What if you suddenly lost your partner through life? How would you find the will to go on all alone? Would you ever be able to fall in love again? This is the true story of my journey from grieving widower, not caring if I lived or died, to the once-again happily married man I am today, a man who both loves and cherishes life. My three kitties have given me a new zest for living.
My story begins with loss and tears, but it ends with lots of love and laughter. I hope that you will find yourself both entertained and inspired by my journey.

At that first meeting Phil came right out and told her what good husbands his boys would make and that she should keep an eye on them. She also shares the reaction her parents had when she told them that she and Willie were getting married when she was only eighteen.
Missy tells the story of their daughter, Mia, who was born with a cleft palate, and their adjustments to this condition and Mia’s joyful spirit that inspires them all.
Jessica recounts her first conversation with Jep and how unimpressed she was when Jep bragged that his dad was the Duck Commander Phil Robertson. She told him she’d heard of Daffy Duck, Donald Duck, and Duck, Duck, Goose— but not the Duck Commander.
Lisa reveals the serious marriage problems she and Al had—problems that almost ended their marriage for good—and how they worked through those issues to have a more stable and loving marriage than she ever imagined possible.

Big Nate: Pray for a Fire Drill
Like all the big nate books I’ve read it was really awesome. I recommend all the big nate books. I loved the part where he tried to teach Ellen about comics. It’s worth buying.
Aspiring cartoonist Nate Wright is the star of Big Nate, the daily and Sunday comic strip. As a popular middle-grade book character, Nate is 11 years old, four-and-a-half feet tall, and the all-time record holder for detentions in school history. He’s a self-described genius and sixth grade Renaissance Man. Nate, who lives with his dad and older sister, enjoys pestering his family and teachers with his sarcasm.

The character development makes a very ‘unreal’ story line SO incredibly real and draws the reader in…and leaves you wanting for more. I can’t wait to have all of these volumes so I can reread as often as I want.
When Willow Finley awakes on a hot summer morning, she is unprepared for the grief that awaits her. Jerked from a life of isolation with her mother, Willow learns what alone really means when she finds her mother still in her bed, never to awaken again in this life.
From the moment Willow arrives in the police station with her startling announcement, Chad Tesdall fights the friendship he knows he can’t avoid.
This collection of the first five episodes of Past Forward starts with Willow’s life-changing discovery and gently guides the reader through aspects of her life–the past weaving through the present and into the future. Experience her first morning in church, her first movie, and the culture shock of her first trips to the city. A birthday party and a street faire add welcome diversion from butchering, canning, and the beating of area rugs. Disaster strikes. Will she be able to continue her life, or will an offer in the city change it all? Find out in this first volume.
Follow as Willow’s story unfolds past forward.

The Heart’s Frontier (The Amish of Apple Grove)
I found this to be a very fresh and inspiring read. The characters seemed so real, genuine and familiar and I loved every minute spent getting to know them and reading about their story. I highly recommend this book to others! Amish fiction is not a genre I read alot of personally but gravitate more toward the western genre with cowboys and gunfights, but put the two together and you can expect a fun time reading with laugh aloud moments,
An exciting new Amish-meets-Wild West adventure from bestselling authors Lori Copeland and Virginia Smith weaves an entertaining and romantic tale for devoted fans and new readers.
Kansas,1881—On a trip to visit relatives, Emma Switzer’s Amish family is robbed of all their possessions, leaving them destitute and stranded on the prairie. Walking into the nearest trading settlement, they pray to the Lord for someone to help. When a man lands in the dust at her feet, Emma looks down at him and thinks, The Lord might have cleaned him up first.
Luke Carson, heading up his first cattle drive, is not planning on being the answer to anyone’s prayers, but it looks as though God has something else in mind for this kind and gentle man. Plain and rugged—do the two mix? And what happens when a dedicated Amish woman and a stubborn trail boss prove to be each other’s match?

The Dowry of Miss Lydia Clark (The Gresham Chronicles Book #3)
What a wonderful series! Lawana Blackwell captures real feelings and pens them perfectly. A must read even if you haven’t read the other two. I even laughed out loud a few times, along with feeling the character’s pain. Can’t wait for a fourth to see who and what develops next!

The Creole Historical Romance 4-in-1 Bundle (The Creole Series)
I enjoy historical Novels and I was always curious about the early years of New Orleans. It was a pleasure reading this book
The Creoles Series is a captivating group of novels set in nineteenth-century New Orleans, revolving around the romantic adventures of four girls who become close friends while attending the Ursuline Convent School in New Orleans. Each book focuses on one woman as she faces the trials of life and faith.
The Exiles introduces Chantel Fontaine, who has finished her education at the Ursuline Convent. Readers will follow her through the streets and swamps of Louisiana as she falls in love, faces the loss of both her parents, and searches for the baby sister she thought was lost forever.
The Immortelles follows Damita De Salvado who receives a beautiful slave girl, Rissa, for her sixteenth birthday. She mistreats Rissa, revealing her prejudice and hardening Rissa’s heart. When her family experiences financial hardships, Damita grudgingly sells Rissa to a mysterious Christian doctor, Jefferson Whitman, who is Rissa’s adopted brother. Now the tables have turned: Rissa is a wealthy, free woman, while Damita’s family struggles to keep the plantation.
The Alchemy focuses on Simone d’Or, a vivacious young woman hardened by high society life, and Colin Seymour, a talented young man from humble beginnings. As the famed singer and composer Lord Beaufort nurtures Colin’s singing voice, Colin rises to stardom in the opera world. At first, Simone judges Colin as a man beneath her standing, but after hearing Colin at the opera, she finds herself captivated by his talent and passion. Meanwhile, Simone’s brother places the family name in jeopardy by his gambling debt, and she must face the possibility of marrying Vernay, a rigid young man of equal status who is feared for his skill in dueling others to the death.
The Tapestry is the striking conclusion to The Creoles Series sharing the story of Leonie Vernay. Abandoned as an infant on the steps of the Ursuline Convent School, Leonie has endured the emotional and financial poverty of an orphan. Now a young woman making her way as a humble seamstress in New Orleans, she is startled by a mysterious stranger who claims to know her identity—and her relatives. Will she find acceptance with her long-lost family, or is she on a misguided quest?
