Once I started reading this book I couldn’t put it down. I found myself laughing out loud and then tearing up and then laughing again. Such a fun read. Loved it and can’t wait for more books from this series and author.
BOOKS, ETC. – “This was a cute, fun novel that was perfect for an end of summer read.”
THE BOOK BAG – “Lacy made her characters so very believable and real that I felt like I was part of this group of women. This is chick lit at it’s finest!”
A COZY READER’S CORNER REVIEWS – “I think any girl can relate to Norah’s story, which makes this title a great chick-lit. If you love fashion, romance, stories with family relationships or dynamics, this one has something for you! It really has a little of everything. Top that with a great writing style and you get The Last Page.”
TEA AND SCRIBBLES – “I devoured this book. All the main characters were very relatable to me. I didn’t ever really feel like an outsider looking in on this world, but someone who was learning about the story and was part of the group. This was a very enjoyable book that I would recommend to others and I am looking forward to more in the series and by Camey.”
Summary:
Twenty-two year old Norah Johnson is at a crossroads and is in desperate need to heal after a highly publicized breakup from her major league baseball player boyfriend.
To escape, she moves to her summer home in The Hamptons with her sister and best friend where she journals, attends therapy and works on her pending clothing line all the while wondering how fast can a heart really heal. Well, it sure helps when part of the healing process involves living in a fabulous summer home on the beach with your sister and absolute BFF. The best psychologist since Good Will Hunting always helps. And then there’s the hottie, much older version of Taylor Lautner look-alike who finds your lost journal, reads it and falls madly in love with you, “the you on paper”, and is set on finding you and making you fall in love with him.
Okay, so this can all really help! But is Norah ready to love again?
The Last Page is a PG, language-free, sex-free, short novel (40k words) suitable for all ages…okay, well obviously not for five year olds. This book is an inspirational light hearted read about living and loving again.

A Gathering of Memories (A Place Called Home)
Price: $0.99
I enjoy all of Lori Wick’s books. This is one of my favorites, as it is a story really about love and family. It’s well worth reading as are all of her books. The characters have chalanges, but through it all remain loving and rely on God. It’s worth the 5 stars.
Ross feltpanicked. His words had hurt her. It surprised him, given the way she handledthe harsh circumstances of her life. First her mother’sdeath. Then her father’s. Thenlosing the land.
Was his compassionfor the vulnerable young woman turning to love? And if it was love, what wouldhe do now? “Please, God,” he prayed. “Help me. Show me.”
A poignant taleabout love fulfilled, A Gathering ofMemories will capture the hearts and minds of romantics everywhere.

Amish Christmas on Goose Pond (VOLUME ONE)

Samantha Bayarr’s books remain one of the most popular of Amish series. Her Christmas books do not disappoint. As a bestselling Amish novelist with Plain friends and “second parents,” I enjoy books that are well-researched. Bayarr’s books are spot-on.

Beauty for Ashes (A Hickory Ridge Romance)
Price: $1.99
This book was good reading. I enjoyed it because it was well written and was enjoyable to read even though it did not have the steamy love scenes you find in most romance novels.
After losing her husband in the Civil War, Carrie Daly is scared she will never have the family she longs for. Eligible bachelors are scarce in Hickory Ridge, Tennessee, but Carrie has found love. Not the weak-in-the-knees kind, but something practical. Still, she isn’t quite ready to set a wedding date with Nate Chastain.
Griff Rutledge is a former member of Charleston society, but has been estranged from his family for years. He’s determined to remain unattached, never settling in one place for too long. But when asked to train a Thoroughbred for an upcoming race in Hickory Ridge, he decides to stay awhile.
Despite objections from the townsfolk, and her fear that true happiness has eluded her, Carrie is drawn to Griff’s kindness and charm. It will take a leap of faith for them to open their hearts and claim God’s promise to give beauty for ashes.
