Mr. Slater’s advice is straightforward, honest and compassionate, and his dedication to helping people with PCOS is evident here, as it is in his other writings on this subject.
If so, this ebook will help you. You’ve probably been aware of your PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome) for some time. If so, you’ve noticed that a piecemeal, haphazard approach doesn’t work well. You may have discovered that you still can’t become pregnant, lose weight, stop the facial hair, control your appetite, reduce scalp hair loss, suppress acne, relieve depression and restore your self-esteem. What could be the problem?
The reason is that PCOS is a very complex systemic disorder, not just an ovarian problem. PCOS is like an iceberg. Only 20% of the disorder is visible as symptoms. 80% of it is beneath the surface. You’re not aware of it. But it’s there. For example, medical research has shown that up to one of every two women with PCOS has liver disease. If you’re one of those with liver disease, your PCOS won’t go away until you restore health to your liver. And this is only one example of many.
Therefore, a more comprehensive, in-depth approach is required.
This ebook describes a science-based strategy that you can implement in 12 weeks, if you focus and are diligent. By fully implementing this strategy, you should notice an improvement in some of your PCOS symptoms within 12 weeks. Maybe your waist will get smaller or maybe you’ll get a period or your chin hairs will be thinner. Or your mood will brighten. Whatever it is, something will shift inside you.
Within 12 weeks, you can assert a degree of control over your symptoms. The longer you continue the 12 strategies, the greater your degree of control. By continuing the 12 strategies over the coming years, you should expect to see your symptoms substantially diminish. You also greatly reduce your risk of developing heart disease, diabetes and possibly cancer.
If you don’t complete all of the recommendations in 12 weeks, don’t worry. Just persist at your own pace until they are all completed.
The truth is, there is no “quick fix” for PCOS. There is only gradual progress. Your first 12 weeks will lay the foundation for accelerating that progress and thus gaining control over PCOS.

This is such a good idea and a fast and easy way to take a salad with you where ever you go.
If you are like me, you probably have a busy lifestyle to keep up with which makes eating healthy pretty difficult. We all know that a good hearty salad is good for you. However, due to everyones busy demanding schedules, finding the time to prepare a good salad isn’t always possible.
Yes, you can get salad in many fast food restaurants; unfortunately, most fast food salads are either not fresh, contains processed fillers, or their dressing contains more calories than their burgers.
What most people don’t know is that many fast food restaurants actually spray their salads with a substance made of propylene glycol to make their lettuce and other vegetables appear fresh, when they could actually be up to 3 days old! So all these reasons really defeat the purpose of trying to eat healthy.
Lucky for you, I am about to reveal an ingenious way to prepare a tasty, mouth watering and healthy salad in a mason jar that can last for up to 7 days – without the unwanted chemical spray.

The Homeschool Highway: How To Navigate Your Way Without Getting Carsick
Price: Free
It’s a quick, comical read and I can’t recommend it enough for the homeschooling families or those thinking (or just curious) about homeschooling. And, most importantly, it encouraged me, to know I’m not alone with the occasional “car sickness.” One of the best (and REAL) books on homeschooling I’ve read.
Join Amy Dingmann, homeschooling mom of two, as she discusses the potholes and roadblocks along the Homeschooling Highway: what is the real socialization question we should all be asking? How do we get rid of our homeschooling doubt and guilt? How do homeschooling parents get any time to themselves? What is a parent’s responsibility when it comes to homeschooling? Why can’t homeschoolers get along with each other? Do labels really matter? How do I handle my family and friends who don’t agree with homeschooling? And what in the world does my husband really think about what I’m doing?
Hop in your Minivan of Awesome and get ready for an honest (but hilarious!) look at how to deal with life on the Homeschooling Highway…without getting carsick!

The Vegetarian: Italian Cookbook
Price: Free
I am in love with this book! The recipes are simple and straight forward, the book itself does not have extra fuss – chapters or essays about non-food issues – and, most importantly, I can actually see myself making a good majority of the recipes in this book.
Ever since I can remember, food has been a passion of mine. Growing up, you’d find me in the kitchen, often making more mess than sense; but in the end, things just started to click.
The aim of this book is not to convert meat-eaters in to vegetarians, but to bring extremely delicious, vegetable based Italian food to all.
It’s been a long but very delightful journey. I’ve covered endless miles and tasted countless meals; this book is the result of that.
The book contains recipes for: antipastos, pasta sauces, pastas, pizzas, risottos, desserts and something that I call, the 5 Minute Wonders. These are quick little tasty snacks that can all be made within 5 minutes.
Venture in to the unknown, explore, taste, cook and create.

A Captain’s Duty: Somali Pirates, Navy SEALS, and Dangerous Days at Sea
I loved this story and so enjoyed reading it. He truly is, as I suspected, genuine and down to earth, he could be your neighbor, your brother, or the guy that coaches the softball team in town. I think that is what has drawn most people to this story, it could have been any one of us.
It was just another day on the job for fifty-three-year-old Richard Phillips, captain of the Maersk Alabama, the United States-flagged cargo ship which was carrying, among other things, food and agricultural materials for the World Food Program. That all changed when armed Somali pirates boarded the ship. The pirates didn’t expect the crew to fight back, nor did they expect Captain Phillips to offer himself as hostage in exchange for the safety of his crew. Thus began the tense five-day stand-off, which ended in a daring high-seas rescue when U.S. Navy SEALs opened fire and picked off three of the captors.
“It never ends like this,” Captain Phillips said.
And he’s right.
A Captain’s Duty tells the life-and-death drama of the Vermont native who was held captive on a tiny lifeboat off Somalia’s anarchic, gun-plagued shores. A story of adventure and courage, it provides the intimate details of this high-seas hostage-taking–the unbearable heat, the death threats, the mock executions, and the escape attempt. When the pirates boarded his ship, Captain Phillips put his experience into action, doing everything he could to safeguard his crew. And when he was held captive by the pirates, he marshaled all his resources to ensure his own survival, withstanding intense physical hardship and an escalating battle of wills with the pirates. This was it: the moment where training meets instinct and where character is everything. Richard Phillips was ready.

The Baker Illustrated Bible Commentary (Text Only Edition)
Wow. I was pleasantly surprised at the new Baker’s Illustrated Bible Commentary. Let’s face it, one volume commentaries are often disappointments when it comes to usability. Part of the reason for that is that it is hard to write intriguing & insightful details when the goal is a one (or two) volume commentary. Still, thus far, I have been very happy with the approach of the BIBC, edited by Burge and Hill.
The text-only ebook edition of this information-packed commentary helps readers gain a deeper understanding of the Bible. Beyond that, it includes practical applications for spiritual and personal guidance, making it invaluable to any believer seeking to get the most out of their Bible study.
Pastors and others in teaching ministries looking for a one-volume, evangelical commentary on the Bible will value this resource.
