The Diary of a De-cluttering Junkie: Episode 3 (The Diary of a Decluttering Junkie)
Price: Free
I have been keeping up with this story all along. I have most of Chautona’s books and get inspired by most of them. She is a wonderful fairly new writer that’s on ther way up.
Her family doesn’t know what to think of her and her. While Jacob does enjoy the streamlined beauty of his new life, he is also just as frustrated as their sons as Kaye goes from clean up to clear out–including treasured possessions.
Who knew that what started out as a survival technique would become an addiction?
Episode Three: Kaye finds that it’s much easier to get things organized and streamlined than it is to keep them that way. The living room gets an “up do” and even Jacob loves the improvement.
However, her new scrapping friends are a little tired of her rhapsodies on the virtues of streamlined living and Purrlock gives her reason to consider de-cluttering “family” members as well.
Tensions mount in the Harper household as Kaye discovers that much of her identity is wrapped up in being a “bargain hunter.”
But when Kaye tackles–albeit unintentionally–one of the worst rooms in the house as she searches for an attachment to her mixer, tempers flare and explode, leaving hurt feelings scattered throughout the house.

Patti’s writing style is so fascinating. The character development is excellent. Grace and redemption are greatly magnified in this excellent tale. See the real Father and application of the prodigal son amount other stories.
It doesn’t take long to realize that thirty-three-year-old Francie is out of money and in no hurry to let go of her daughter, so the two unpack indefinitely. Amy finds work at a funeral home, a place where her unlikely Christian faith can work itself out among the town’s young and old, geeks and jocks, hippies and clergy alike.
Trying not to judge her mom’s serial boyfriend escapades, Amy ends up in a tragic love triangle herself which gives both mother and daughter the chance to do some real growing up. But in a surprise twist, their road to healing still has many miles to go in 2008 as they travel back to Sleepy Eye in that old ’58 coupe.

Shadow in Serenity was way better than I expected! I really liked how the story dealt with con artists and scamming people – very unique from most books I’ve read.

Blue Moon Promise (Under Texas Stars)

I really enjoyed this book. It was a good romance Novel with a Mystery involved! I think anyone who reads it will enjoy it!
Lucy Marsh’s worldly resources are running out, but she’s fiercely determined to care for her younger brother and sister. When she discovers that their father’s recent death was no accident, Lucy is eager to leave town. She accepts a proxy marriage she believes will provide safe refuge. But trouble follows her to Texas where her new husband is surprised to suddenly have a wife and children to care for.
Nate Stanton always hoped he’d marry someday, but running the family ranch meant he had no time for romance. When his father deposits Lucy Marsh—a city girl—on his doorstep, with two siblings in the bargain, he expects ranch life will send her running on the first train out of town. But Lucy is made of tougher stuff than Nate imagined. When danger moves in, Nate finds he’d give anything to protect Lucy and the children he’s grown to love. Even if it means giving up his ranch.
Blue Moon Promise is a story of hope, romance, and suspense . . . immersing the reader in a rich historical tale set under Texas stars.
