The Diary of a De-cluttering Junkie: Episode 3 (The Diary of a Decluttering Junkie)
Price: FREE
Her family doesn’t know what to think of her and her. While Jacob does enjoy the streamlined beauty of his new life, he is also just as frustrated as their sons as Kaye goes from clean up to clear out–including treasured possessions.
Who knew that what started out as a survival technique would become an addiction?
Episode Three: Kaye finds that it’s much easier to get things organized and streamlined than it is to keep them that way. The living room gets an “up do” and even Jacob loves the improvement.
However, her new scrapping friends are a little tired of her rhapsodies on the virtues of streamlined living and Purrlock gives her reason to consider de-cluttering “family” members as well.
Tensions mount in the Harper household as Kaye discovers that much of her identity is wrapped up in being a “bargain hunter.”
But when Kaye tackles–albeit unintentionally–one of the worst rooms in the house as she searches for an attachment to her mixer, tempers flare and explode, leaving hurt feelings scattered throughout the house.

Daughter’s Inheritance, A (The Broadmoor Legacy Book #1)
Price: FREE
Luckily this is the first book in a series because the ending does leave you hanging quite a bit. I’m looking forward to reading about what happens to Fanny and Michael’s relationship as well as the adventures of the other Broadmoor cousins. Another fine effort from Peterson and Miller.

Distant Dreams (Ribbons of Steel Book #1)

Distant Dreams is a wonderful book. I liked how it was not your usual romance. You had to deal with the society’s rules of the time. I admire Carolina for her tenacity. I’m reading the second book now. Like I said, I like how it’s not your usual romance, it doesn’t turn out how you expect. I highly recomend it to everyone.
James Baldwin arrives to serve as Carolina’s teacher, but of more importance, he is to court Carolina’s beautiful older sister, Virginia. Will expectations–and Virginia’s southern charm–elicit the hoped-for proposal? Or will James and Carolina dare to acknowledge the mutual interests and feelings growing between them?

I love this book because it doesn’t gloss over what our lives as Christians are like, the challenges we face, and a Biblical account of how we are to proceed – that following Christ means dying to self to live for Him. This is one of the most beautifully written accounts I have ever read.

Belonging: A Novel (Where The Heart Lives)
I’m always amazed at Robin’s creativity and her ability to continually develop so many diverse and interesting characters yet still manage to surprise us. This, along with her whit, and ability to bring real life out of the frontier are what continually bring me back to her stories.

Betrayal: A Novel (Where The Heart Lives)
This book was so good. I couldn’t put it down. Was up in the middle of the night trying to finish it. Each page left you wanting to go to the next. Very well written and organized greatly. Kept my attention and not too many books can do that for me. I loved this western.
