Buddie – The Trampolining Bear

This book is an utter delight to read, my sons and I loved it. Bouncer is a little boy who loves his trampoline at the bottom of his garden. One night a magical bear that shines with little stars visits and tries out his trampoline! It’s a lovely story and it’s really told from the innocent viewpoint of the child. The illustrations are wonderful too, and come across really well on the Kindle version. I bet they are beautiful in the paperback too. Definitely one for a children’s present, in fact I just bought one myself for a little girl at my son’s school. I hope the pair collaborate on more books.
Summer Sault, a gold medal winning trampolinist, has designed the biggest trampoline in the world for her ten year old son Bouncer. It’s the size of a huge, rectangular swimming pool and the mat is covered in twinkling, silver stars. It is a very special trampoline.
One morning Bouncer goes outside to practise his routine for the upcoming International Trampolining Event. He is shocked to see paw prints on the star covered mat.
Someone has been bouncing on his trampoline…
With no help from his Mum, Dad, teacher or classmates, but plenty of help from his best friend Ed, will Bouncer find out who the paw prints belong to? And will he win a medal at the trampolining competition?
This is the first book in a series, as Bouncer and Ed adventure together.
With 8 chapters, 90 pages and 70 black and white illustrations throughout, along with a sporty theme, this story is for boys and girls from the age of 5-10.

This is so cute book about little sibling mice. Short chapters, very nice and funny illustrations. I always loved reading tale books about mice, and this one is definitely worth of investment. I love this story!

I have a little daughter and after reading this story to her, she said she understood why her newborn baby brother cries so much, and if she could participate in taking care of him, so that he knows he’s loved and protected… This brought tears to my eyes, and I have this book to thank for. An absolute must for every parent who wants to teach his kids true values in life!
The story is about a small blue cloud, and his first floating-steps in the sky.
