I can never get enough of the stories of Willow. While all seems well with her family, there’s a shadow of something grim lurking…… What’s next? Does it happen like I think it might? More, please!

Past Forward is a serial novel with episodes released weekly on Kindle.

Alone without friends or family to comfort her after the death of her mother, Willow Finley’s idyllic life is over—and just beginning.

When Willow Finley awakes on a hot summer morning, she is unprepared for the grief that awaits her. Jerked from a life of isolation with her mother, Willow learns what alone really means when she finds her mother still in her bed, never to awaken again in this life.

From the moment Willow arrives in the police station with her startling announcement, Chad Tesdall fights the friendship he knows he can’t avoid.

The squeals of toddlers and new cries of an infant fill the late summer and autumn air around Walden Farm. The many changes that have taken place over the past few years slowly reverse as Chad and Willow find a comfortable groove for their family.

But amid the good and wholesome, something–or someone–foreboding lurks in the shadows, threatening the tranquility of their home and lives. When Becca feels threatened, Josh wants something done and now. Who is the man who seems fixated on Walden Farm and why are Willow and Chad at odds over him?

Follow as Willow’s story unfolds past forward.

Tomorrow’s Sun (Lost Sanctuary)

Becky Melby

Price: FREE

Tomorrow’s Sun is Becky Melby’s debut novel and the start of the Lost Sanctuary Series. Book two, Yesterday’s Stardust comes out in the summer and I can not wait. This book was so good. It was a mix of contemporary and historical and it was fun watching the two stories merge together. I really enjoyed the parts of the story that deal with the twins, Adam and Lexi and them getting to know Emily. Also I find it fascinating reading about the underground railroad and how complex it was to help slaves escape. Becky Melby did a great job at weaving the two stories together with complex characters and real emotions. If anyone has read Susan Meissner’s A Sound Among the Trees then you will love this book. Personally I enjoyed this book more and give it 5 stars or more if I could.

Emily Foster won’t allow herself to move on until she earns enough money to make restitution for the accident that stole a young girl’s dreams. Flipping houses sounds like the fast track to her goal, but when her first project turns out to be a stop on the Underground Railroad, Emily finds herself drawn to, but at odds with, the contractor she hires. Jake Braden needs to focus on gaining guardianship of his late sister’s twins, but the story of lost love uncovered in Emily’s house sets the stage for what might become his own lost love.

The Unveiling (Age of Faith)

Tamara Leigh

Price: $1.99

If your reading this review to see if it’s worth the money to get… GET IT! Admittedly, I was slower to get into this story because I wasn’t used to the way it’s written, with it’s old english dialect. But once my brain adjusted I devoured it in two days!
A little more scandalous at times than I was expecting it’s not smutty in the least. I absolutely love and adore all Tamara Leigh stories. She never disappoints! My only complain is it only took me two days to read it- Now what do I do? I miss Annyn and Garr

12th century England: Two men vie for the throne: King Stephen the usurper and young Duke Henry the rightful heir. Amid civil and private wars, alliances are forged, loyalties are betrayed, families are divided, and marriages are made.

For four years, Lady Annyn Bretanne has trained at arms with one end in mind—to avenge her brother’s murder as God has not deemed it worthy to do. Disguised as a squire, she sets off to exact revenge on a man known only by his surname, Wulfrith. But when she holds his fate in her hands, her will wavers and her heart whispers that her enemy may not be an enemy after all.

Baron Wulfrith, renowned trainer of knights, allows no women within his walls for the distraction they breed. What he never expects is that the impetuous young man sent to train under him is a woman who seeks his death—nor that her unveiling will test his faith and distract the warrior from his purpose.

Autumn Song (Seasons of the Heart)

Martha Rogers

Price: $1.99

Martha Rogers weaves and entertaining plot which includes romance, history, and inspiration. Her protagonists Kate’s determination for independence and her stubbornness and Daniel’s unrelenting pride get in the way of following God’s destiny for their lives. The conflict that follows and the spiritual lessons learned are highlighted by “heated” dialog, deep personal hurt, and regret. “Autumn Song” is warm hearted romance set in a formational period of history with important life changing spiritual implications.

Richard R. Blake

Why does everyone think a girl’s only lot in life is to find a husband and settle down?
Kathleen Muldoon is twenty-three and tired of ranch living. Fiercely independent and determined to become a nurse, she has left her family’s ranch to study medicine under Old Doc Jensen andlive in town with her Aunt Mae, who runs a boardinghouse.

When trouble erupts between the ranchers and lumberjacks over timber rights, Kate is furious to learn that Daniel has worked out an agreement she believes will destroy her father’s land. Can they overcome their pride and help each other become everything God wants them to be?

Set in the late 1800s, the Seasons of the Heart series follows the lives of four women and their families, weaving together their stories of faith, life, and love as they bond in friendship only God could orchestrate.
