This is a great little story about how an older sister resists at first, but eventually includes her little brother into her activities. Emphasizes lessons in patience, empathy and understanding.

The Little Leaf

I bought this for my three grandsons and a copy for myself to read to them when they come and visit. The premise of a little leaf wanting to grow bigger like his brothers and sisters and all the ways he tries to accomplish that resonates with the desire in all of us to be better than we are now. The simple answer is refreshing and comforting. I enjoyed it so much I will be buying more copies for a local kindergarten and preschool.
