What do you see? Our Solar System (A beautifully illustrated children’s picture book)

Carme Sevenster

Price: FREE

I was browsing for a book I could read to my 5 year old granddaughter, visiting us at the moment, and thought I would give this one a try. I showed it to her on my Kindle Fire and she has not left my side for hours. Beautiful illustrations and rhymes, very educational I even learned a few new things. You see it is true we are never to old to learn new things. I can’t wait for the other grand children to come and visit this weekend. I have a treat for them. The book’s format is excellent and displays everything in a lot of detail. The author has obviously gone to great trouble to illustrate the book in such an excellent way and to write the information so that children will easily learn from it. Highly recommended.

John

What do you see? Our Solar System is a beautiful, fun, fully illustrated children’s rhyming book introducing our solar systems to children aged 3 to 8 years of age. It is a perfect bedtime story with easy to remember facts about each planet. It is a book parents would love to read over and over again. It is also a perfect level 2 science self-reader.

Pomodoro Penguin Makes a Friend – A Children’s rhyming picture book about friendship (The Adventures of Pomodoro Penguin)

Bryce Westervelt

Price: FREE

Perfectly suited for multiple readings with the kiddos. Keeping fingers crossed that Pomodoro’s love of pasta will translate into more adventurous eating for my picky preschooler. (Any possibility that next book will include Pomo picking up the Legos he loves to trail across the floor? A mom can dream, right?) Cute, fun read.

Renee Alexander

Join a little red Penguin named Pomodoro on his quest to cure boredom and find friendship. This pasta-loving bird may be different from the other penguins thanks to his marinara colored feathers, but that doesn’t mean that he can’t find a new friend.

Pomodoro encounters a bully, but in the end, it is his love of all things pasta that helps him find an unlikely dinner partner!

Fun illustrations and snappy rhyme will surely be a hit with children of all ages.

Towering Tiger – Indoor Explorer Picture Book (Certified Silly)

Michael Wills

Price: FREE

We loved the pictures in this book! Little Miss really enjoyed this book about tigers. The pictures were beautiful, and the photos were gorgeous. We stuck with the facts with this book – once she has those squared away we’ll add in some of the silly portions. Fun for small children

A. Hargraves

Written by a family for your family, Towering Tiger by Michael Wills (with a helping hand from his two young daughters) gives a fantastic insight into the minds, lives and imaginations of these fascinating creatures: from hunting to swimming. Available exclusively as a downloadable e-book, Towering Tiger is aimed at children of all ages – and their adults!

A great balance of fact and fiction, this e-book is packed with humor (which will appeal as much to grown-ups as kids) and interspersed with true, educational snippets about tigers. It’s also superbly illustrated with a selection of gorgeous, fun, colorful photos that children will love to look at. The text is simple enough for a preschooler to understand, easy enough for a second-grader to try to read alone, yet interesting enough to keep older children amused too.

When it comes to literary critics, children are the harshest of all, but Towering Tiger is one e-book that will keep them entertained from start to finish.

Whether you’re a parent, teacher, First-Grader or a cool older kid, you NEED to download this book today. It’s fun, funny, easy-to-read and (ssshhh!) educational too. Not to mention the benefits of using interactive, modern technology with your little ones. Towering Tiger offers the perfect opportunity to explore tigers from the comfort of Mom or Dad’s knee: great for daytime, bedtime or anytime. And the children won’t even notice how much they’re learning!

The History of Veggies (An Ed the Dragon Book)

Mary Lee

The History of Veggies by Mary Lee is the most adorable children’s book I have read in a long time. The illustration is precious. Two adorable looking dragons going off on an adventure is sure to appeal to young boys as well as girls. Parents can utilize this fun book to entice their children to eat their vegetables. I recommend parents of young children to add this book to their selection of tools. I’m sure The History of Veggies will become their children’s favorite book.

Miranda
