This was a wonderful story about God’s love and forgiveness. Eli is a man who believes that God has let him down. Delanie is a young woman who is just trying to prove that she is a good cop even if she is female. When the two are paired to do an under cover assignment their lives will change forever. I enjoyed the theme of marriage and always having God as the center. The side story of Courtney was well written and rang true of every day life. This is one of my favorite Heartsong presents novels.

It’s a wonderfully weaved story and it kept me turning the pages to find out how it would evolve. I wasn’t disappointed! The story is believable, the characters are real, likable, and have many dimensions. I highly recommend this book for someone who is looking for an uplifting story that will make them feel good through and through!

Reading this story made me smile, laugh, and cry all in one day. I quickly fell in love with Star’s story and her drive to want to do well. Her stubborn streak got her into quite a few messes that make for a very good laugh. I loved reading about her learning to love the Lord and become a Christian. This story also has a great overall message that no matter what a person has in their past, God will still love them and take care of them.
