Don’t be fooled by the name. It is an allegory for the extra spiritual “baggage” that Christians carry. It’s more of a “how-to” lose your doubt. Not a “how to” lose weight. Now that being said, I didn’t buy this thinking it was a diet book, because I’d read the fine print. It has inspired me to re-read it in conjunction with “A Confident Heart” to which it is a companion. Ms. Swope is a phenomenal talent. She really reaches into your heart and grabs you. She doesn’t let go until you cry uncle! Just the kind of spiritual writer that I like to read!
