Despite the worldly content described in this book, I considered this story one of the best reads I’ve come across this year. I laughed, I cried, I was annoyed and I rejoiced along with Summer. Only the best authors can grab a reader that way and Lindi Peterson accomplishes this with gusto. Even if you don’t relate to Summer, you’ll be rooting for her the whole time. Summer starts out being cardboard, but by the end she decides to be fudge.
Pop-star princess Summer Sinclair doesn’t know what to do with herself now that she’s cleaned-up and sober. She knows God’s been nudging her, but since God is unfamiliar territory, she feels scared and alone. Everything changes when she meets Levi Preston, a Christian musician who’s falling for Summer and wants her to be who God created her to be. But when the reality of her life takes Levi to places he’s vowed to stay clear of, will Summer’s newfound freedom be what breaks her heart as she does what is best for Levi?

Virginia Bloom (Virginia Home)

I hope the author has plans for more books about the secondary characters in the making. I found the story interesting and the characters engaging. I also appreciated the fact that this self-published book was not full of typos, misspelled words, and grammar errors. Actually, I can’t remember any errors at all.
Rachel returns to her Virginia hometown to help her family deal with the sudden marriage of her eccentric grandmother, but, instead of solving her family’s problems, she discovers she has a problem of her own.
Rachel is torn between two men. One is a handsome stranger who seems like the hero from her daydreams. And the other is Mason–her best friend.
She has never considered Mason a potential husband, but his behavior towards her keeps changing, making her feel things she’s never expected. She’s always thought she knew God’s will for her life, and Mason has never been it. But maybe she’s been wrong . . . about everything.
Virginia Bloom is a Christian love story combining romance, humor, and hope.

Fools Rush In (Weddings by Bella, Book 1)

Bella’s family is very close. They all live together, her Aunt, Uncle, Mom and Dad, and a couple siblings and are they funny! It reminds me of my family, there is always someone talking louder than someone else to be heard over everyone, and holidays are even louder. This is a must read for anyone who likes a little romance, and the love of family in a book.
When a misunderstanding leads her to the DJ (and man) of her dreams, things start falling into place. But with a family like hers, nothing is guaranteed. Can the perfect Texan wedding survive a pizza-making uncle with mob ties, an aunt who is a lawsuit waiting to happen, and a massive delivery of 80 cowboy boots? And will Bella ever get to plan her own wedding?
Book one in the Weddings by Bella series, Fools Rush In is fun, fresh, and full of surprises. Readers will love the flavorful combination of Italian and Tex-Mex, and the hilarity that ensues when cultures clash.
