I hadn’t realized the huge benefits of wheatgrass! I’m a convert now, for sure. This great guide explains all – it is very useful for anyone who wants to improve their health, raise their energy levels or those who are coping with medical ailments.

From Julia Winchester, the author of Microgreens: a Beginner’s Guide to the Benefits of Cultivation and Consumption:

There is no one that shouldn’t learn about the health benefits and the good-for-you qualities of wheatgrass. In fact, if you are like most people, you need this. Do you eat fast food on a regular basis? Do you find yourself pushing those greens to the side of your plate at each meal? Perhaps you do wish you could eat a more health-based diet but think it’s too hard to do so.

Even if you are eating a healthy diet for the most part, chances are high of you not getting enough of the nutrition you need. The American diet, for example, is packed with fat. Soils are often depleted of nutrients and that means the food you consume is also lacking in the nutrition you need. This is one of the reasons why eating organic food is so valuable. It can provide you with the best possible quality of nutrients in what you are consuming. Organic wheatgrass is a critical staple for supplementing any diet.

In Wheatgrass: Growing and Juicing for Better Nutrition, Julia walks the reader through the benefits of including wheatgrass in one’s diet and teaches us how to grow and juice wheatgrass at home to use in simple and healthy recipes. Even those new to growing anything will find that wheatgrass requires minimal effort to generate the reward of better health and nutrition.

Download Wheatgrass: Growing and Juicing for Better Nutrition today and start growing your own fresh, healthy, organic supplement today.

William Ellis

I learned so much from this book that I can hardly wait for spring to arrive so I can try some what I learned. Buy this book; it is worth your time and investment.

Leland D. Benton

Having a large yard these days does not necessarily mean than gardening is the only thing that homeowners will do. As long as the same care is given to the plants you grow in a pot as you would give to an ordinary garden, you can grow almost anything in a suitable container. Although you may hear that you can use any container to grow your plants, there are some materials that you will find can be operated much easier when compared to others, particularly for persons who are just getting into container gardening. Containers made from cheap plastic will most times weaken and fade away in the sun, and although it is famous for the light weight it has, this type of plastic was not designed to last long.

It is important that whatever container you use in your herb or flower garden that all the surfaces are thoroughly cleaned before anything is planted. This becomes more important if the container you buy is secondhand which may have held plants that were diseased.

One great thing about container gardening is the fact that you are able to move the pots to conditions that are more favorable if they do not seem to be thriving in the location they are at. Also, plants can be planted indoors then easily moved to bigger pots positioned outdoors at the appropriate time.

Author William Ellis has learned the valuable art of saving money in all aspect of his life. Learning about container gardening was a bonus for him. He made the mistake of spending too much money at the start but has learnt his lesson quite well. He provides valuable tips for saving money. William has put together this book mainly as a way to show garden lovers how they can continue to do what they love to do but at a much lower cost than what they are used to and for those who are just starting in container gardening, how they can avoid spending a ridiculous sum of cash on container gardening.

William also gives details of how to spend only pennies when you start your plant from seeds compared to the several dollars it will cost you to purchase the plants you plan to grow in containers as seedlings. He recommends that you make the compost yourself and you can further save a lot of money as well as reduce the amount of garbage you dispose of. William admits that he has made all the mistakes that are possible in container gardening and has provided a list of the mistakes that you might encounter so you can avoid them if possible.

Reading this book brought back so many memories of those times. Each recipe has a little history of what was going on in the US when people were using the recipe. You might be familiar with many of the recipes, but they offer a new version of how you might have made them – these recipes vary by region in the US.

Lisa Henderson

Remember back when you were a kid and your Mom had those favorite, dishes she would make? Remember all the new and interesting dishes that you could sample at every party, cookout and family gathering?

You might have thought those old recipes were gone for good, but I’ve dug up a cache of old retro family recipe cards that span from the 1960’s – 1990’s which are bound to include some of those childhood favorites that you’ve been longing for!

I’ve taken 35 recipes from these old fashioned recipe cards and translated them into this cookbook! Inside you’ll find retro recipes for breads, side dishes, main meals and, of course, desserts (those are my favorite!). And, if you really want to relive those days of your youth, then I’ve also included some interesting information from that era in each recipe that is sure to spark your memory and even make you chuckle.

I’ve made sure the recipe directions were easy to follow, all ingredients can be purchased in modern times and I’ve even added in nutritional information for each recipe.

So, why not let your taste buds take a trip down memory lane?
