I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who loves animals; I’m positive that my husband and son will enjoy it, both because they love dogs and animals AND because of the author! If your youngster wants to read it, be certain and discuss the “scary” parts with them; this is an excellent way to introduce the ideas of how pets should be treated and that they should NEVER be dumped and left to their own devices. Pet ownership is a HUGE responsibility and you are never too young to learn this!
